Details

Shampoo with hydrolyzed proteins and plant extracts for treated, dry or damaged hair. The proteins are hydrolyzed, that is, broken into pieces much smaller than the whole protein, which is what lets them settle on the fiber instead of staying on the surface and rinsing away. It is the first step of the protocol and the one that prepares the hair for what comes after. 300 ml format.

Ingredients
  • Liposomal complex — encapsulation system that carries the actives
  • Honey extract — humectant
  • Royal jelly extract — conditioning
  • Orchid extract — conditioning
  • Hydrolyzed collagen — hair conditioning and humectant
  • Hydrolyzed keratin — hair conditioning and antistatic
  • B vitamin complex
  • Rhodophyceae extract — conditioning
  • Plankton — conditioning
  • Hydrolyzed silk — hair conditioning and antistatic
How to use it
  • Wet the hair well with warm water
  • Apply the shampoo to the scalp, not to the lengths
  • Massage with your fingertips, never with your nails
  • Rinse with plenty of water until no product is left
  • Repeat the wash if the hair needs it
Ideal for
  • Hair treated with color or bleach
  • Dry or brittle hair
  • Frequent use
  • First step of the protocol
Good to know
  • The shampoo cleans the scalp and the lengths clean themselves with the rinse water on its way down
  • The second wash foams more because the first has already removed the oil and the residue, not because it cleans more
  • Massaging with your nails irritates the scalp and does not clean any better
  • Rinsing longer never hurts: shampoo left on the fiber dulls the shine
  • Washing frequency depends on your hair type and your scalp, there is no single rule

How to use

Tip: The second application cleans better than the first: the first one removes the product that has built up.

How often should I wash my hair?

There is no single rule: it depends on your hair type and on your scalp. Fine hair and an oily scalp call for more frequency; thick or very curly hair goes a good deal longer between washes. The reference is your scalp, not the calendar.

Is it applied to the lengths too?

No need. The shampoo goes on the scalp, which is where the oil and the residue are. The lengths clean themselves with the rinse water on its way down, and that way you avoid drying them out.

Why does the second wash foam more?

Because the first has already removed the oil and the product residue, and without those the surfactant foams more easily. More foam does not mean it cleans more.

Can I combine it with the rest of the range?

Yes, and the order matters. First what gets rinsed out: shampoo and then conditioner or mask, never both on the same day because they do the same job. Then what stays in: first the leave-in, which hydrates and protects from heat, and on top the serum, which seals and takes care of the finish. The vials work internally, so they do not interfere with anything you apply.

How long does it take to show?

It depends on what the product acts on, and it is worth separating the two. What works on the shaft, that is the visible part of the hair, shows from the first use, because the shaft is already formed tissue and what changes is its surface. What depends on the follicle goes at the pace of the hair cycle: hair grows on the order of a centimeter a month, so any change in new hair takes months to appear. That is why the vial routines are planned by seasons and not by weeks.

Can I mix it with products from other brands?

Yes. What is worth watching is not the brand, but not repeating two products with the same function: two conditioners, or a conditioner and a mask on the same day, overlap. If you already use several products with proteins, go slowly before adding one more.

Where can I buy it?

At the stores. This site does not sell: it is a catalog with the range and its information, and the purchase is made in the store, where there is also someone who can advise you. The Where to buy page has the list with addresses and opening hours.
